예수님을 하나님이 보내신 그리스도로 아는 것은 무척 중요합니다만 이에 못지 않게 중요한 것은 고백에 따른 순종과 실천입니다. 주라고 고백하며 합당한 순종과 마음을 보이지 않는다면 어떻게 되겠는가? 주를 따르는 제자들에게 요구되는 제자도는 무엇인가? 제자들의 신앙고백을 듣기 원하셨던 주님, 내 안에도 베드로의 간사한 야심이 있음을 용서하옵소서. 이 시간 당신께서 나의 주와 그리스도로 이심을 고백하면서 주님을 분명히 알고 주님 가신 길을 따르기로 결단합니다. 나도 바울처럼 에수님처럼 내 생각과 야심을 버리고 복음 전파의 사명을 향해 달려가겠습니다.
