Part 34 : Deok-mang(德望,덕망- Virtue and Aspiration)... Looking Up to Virtus... Affair 94.
德(덕)은 하늘의 성스러운 덕이며 望(망)은 인간이 우러러봄이다.
Virtue(Deok) is the sacred virtue of Heaven,
and Aspiration(Mang) is humanity′s looking up to it with reverence.
하늘의 성스러운 덕은 아무런 소리가 없지만 미치는 곳에는 인간의 우러러봄이 있다.
Although the sacred virtue of Heaven is entirely silent,
wherever its influence reaches, there is the reverent looking up of humanity.
하늘의 輪回(윤회)에 소리가 없어도 다하는 곳마다 만물의 형상이 있다.
Even though the cosmic cycle(Yunhoe) of Heaven makes no sound,
wherever it reaches its full extent, the forms and manifestations of all creation come into being.
덕이 없으면 우러러봄도 없고 輪回(윤회)가 없으면 형상도 없다.
Without virtue, there can be no reverent looking up; without the cosmic cycle,
there can be no physical form.
이와 같이 인간의 믿음은 곧 하늘이 주는 변치 않는 믿음과 같아야 한다.
In this same manner, human trust must ultimately align with and become like
the unchanging trust bestowed by Heaven.

德은 聖德也라 望은 人望也라(덕은 성덕야라 망은 인망야라)
Virtue is sacred virtue; Aspiration is human revertnce.
聖德은 無聲而所及處에 (성덕은 무성이소급처에)
Sacred virtue is silent, yet wherever it reaches,
There is human reverence; it is like the cosmic cycle of Heaven.
有人望하며 如天之輪回하여 (유인망하며 여천지윤회하여)
It is silent, yet wherence it reachess itss full fulfillment,
the diverse forms of creation exisst.
無聲而所盡處에 有物色也라 德無不望이요 輪無不色이니
(무성이소진처에 유물색야라 덕무불망이요 윤무불색이니 )
Where there is virtue, there is always reverence ;
where there is the cosmic cycle, there is always physical manifestation.
此人之信이 如天之信이니라. (차인지신이 여천지신이니라.)
Therefore, this trust of humanity must be just like the trust of Heaven.
