용서한다는 것은 사랑으로부터 비롯되며 자애로움으로부터 일어나는 마음이요,
To forgive is a state of mind that originates from love and arises from benevolence;
어진 마음에서 결정되어 참지 못하는 마음을 참을수 있도록 돌이키는 것이다
it is determined by a compassionate heart,
turning an intolerant mind into one that can endure.

恕는 由於愛하며 起於慈하며 (서는 유어애하며 기어자하며)
Forgiveness originates from love and arises from benevolence.
定於仁하며 歸於不忍이니라. (정어인하며 귀어불인이니라.)
It is anchored in compassion and ultimately returns to the stateof being unable
to bear the suffering of others(endurance).

참된 사랑은 용서하는 것에서부터 시작한다.
True love begins with forgiveness.
참지 못할 미움과 분노를 자식을 용서하는 마음으로 용서하는 것이다.
It means forgiving intolerable hatred and anger with the same heart
one would use to forgive their own child.
따라서 366事(사)의 사랑은 한국적 정서의 사랑은 반드시 용서하는 것이다.
Therefore, the concept of love in the "366 Cases"― which reflects the korean sentiment
of love― is one that unconditionally includes forgivenesss.
福(복)은 사랑과 음양관계이다.
Good fortune(Blessing) shares a Yin-and-Yang relationship with love.
福(복)은 사랑을 이룬 만큼 받는 것이지 공짜로 하늘에서 뚝 떨어지는 것이 아니다.
Blessings are received only to the extent that one has fulfilled love;
theey do not simply fall from the sky out of nowhere for free.
다시 말하면 남을 용서한 만큼만 福(복)을 받게 된다.
In other words, you receive blessings precisely to the degree that you forgive others.
더도 아니고 덜도 아니고 용서한 만큼이 福(복)으로 돌아온다.
Neither more nor less, exactly the amount you forgive returns to you as a blessing.
이 이치를 안다면 福(복)을 받게 해 주겠다는 엉뚱한 말에 귀를 기우리거나,
福(복)을 받겠다고엉뚱한 행동을 하고 다니는 일이 얼마나 야만스러운 일이며
반문명적인 일인가를 알 수 있다.
If one understands this principle, they will realize how barbaric and anti-civilized
it is to listen to absurd claims of granting them blessings,
or to wander around performing bizarre actions just to receive good fortune.
