무사안일한 것은 크게는 인간의 본바탕을 소멸시키며 작게는 인간의 뜻을 소멸시킨다.
On a grand scale, complacency destroys human nature;
on a smaller scale, it extinguishes human will.
인간의 본바탕과 의지가 함께 소멸되면 인간은 그 존망을 분별하기 어려워지게 된다.
When both human nature and will are annihilated,
it becomes difficult for a person to discern between survival and ruin.
자신이 무사안일하여 본바탕과 의지가 소멸되어 존망이 위태로움을 사람들이 알게 되면
불꽃이 몸을 태우는 것과 같이 된다.
Once people realize that one′s nature and will have withered away due to complacency―leaving
their very existence in jeopardy―it becomes akin to a flame consuming one′s own body.
그러면서 사람들에게 받아지기를 바라겠는가?
Under such circumstances, how can one hope to be accepted by dthers?
또한 그 누가 용납하겠는가?
Furthermore, who would tolerate it?

安念者는 大可滅性이요 小能滅志니 (안심자는 대가멸성이요 소능멸지니)
Complacent thoughts greatly destroy one′s nature and minutely extinguish one′s will.
性與志俱滅이면 存亡을 難辨이라 (성여지구멸이면 존망을 난변이라)
If both nature and will are destroyed together,
it is difficult to distinguish between existence and demise.
遂而人覺에 火焰燒身이니 (수이인각에 화염소신이)
Eventually, as others become aware of this,
it is like a blazing hire burning one′s own body.
猶望容乎아 其容者는 誰요. (유망용호아 기용자는 수요.)
Can one still hope to be accepted?
Who would be the one to accept them?
[ Detailed Commenntary, 풀이]
우주 삼라만상의 모든 존재는 거대한 질서의 세계에 포함되어 있다.
Every single existence among all creation in the universe is integrated
into a world of grand order.
무사안일하다는 것은 질서의 세계에는 그 어디고 있을 수 없다.
Such a thing as complacency cannot exist anywhere within this world of order.
지구도 끊임없이 공전과 자전을 한다.
Even the Earth constantly revolves and rotates without pause.
하늘의 수많은 별들도 끊음없이 움직인다.
Countless stars in the heavens are also in perpetual motion.
무사안일하다는 것은 곧 混沌(혼돈)에 빠져 들었다는 것이며 곧 멈춤 상태가 된다는 것을 의미한다.
To be complacent means that one has fallen into chaos(混沌,혼돈),
implying that one has entered a state of absolute stagnation.
