緩(완)은 급하지 않은 상황이며 急(급)은 급한 상황이다.
"Wan(緩,완)" refers to a non-urgent situation, while "Geup(急,급)" refers to an urgent situation.
급한 상황에서는 요사스러운 사람도 사람들이 혹 허용할 수 있으되
급하지 않은 상황에서는 사람들이 허용하지 않는다.
In an urgent situation, temporarily tolerate even a deceitful person,
but in a non-urgent situation, they will never tolerate them.

緩은 緩界也요 急은 急界也라 (완은 완계야요 급은 급계야라)
Non-urgency(緩,완) is a relaxed state, and urgency(急,급) is an urgent state.
急界妖孼은 人或可容이요 (급계요얼은 인혹가용이요)
In an urgent state, people may perhaps tolerate a wicked person,
緩界妖孼은 人不可容也니라. (완계요얼은 인불가용야니라.)
But in a relaxed state, people will absolutely not tolerate a wicked person.
[Detailed Commentary, 풀이]
스스로 요사스러운데도 남이 허용한다 해서 의아하게 생각 할 필요는 없다.
There is no need to feel puzzled if others happen to tolerate you despite
your own deceitful ways.
이는 단지 사람들이 급한 상황에서 배척할 틈이 없기 때문이다.
This is simply because people lack the luxury or time to reject
you in the midst of a crisis.
스스로 요사스러움을 안다면 급히 고칠 것이지 남의 눈치 살필 이유가 없는 것이다.
If you are aware of your own deceitfulness,
you should correct it immediately rather than constantly looking around
to see how dthers perceive you.
