原喜(원희)는 인간이 하늘로 부터 받은 본바탕이다.
Won-hui(原喜,원희) is the origianl nature that human being have received from Heaven.
원래 인간은 사랑하고 베푸는 것을 기뻐한다.
By nature, humans find joy in loving and giving.
인간이 하늘의 이치에 역행하여 인간을 사랑하지 않은즉 외롭고, 베푸는 것을 기뻐하지 않은즉 천하여 진다.
If humans go ageainst the principles of Heaven and do not love other humans,
they become lonely; if they do not find joy in giving, they become base(lowly).

原喜者는 人之天性이 (원희자는 인지천성이)
Originally, humans love others and rejoice in giving.
However, when humans go against the heavenly principles.
原來愛人喜施也라 人反天理하여 (원래애인희시야라 인반천리하여)
If they do not love others, they become lonely;
if they do not rejoice in giving, they become base.
不愛人則孤하고 不喜施則賤라. (불애인즉고하고 불희시즉천라.)
If they do not love other, they become lonely;
if they do not rejoice in giving, they become base.
[Commentary & Interpre tation, 풀이]
三一神誥(삼일신고) 태백일사본은 인간의 진정한 본바탕인 眞性(진성)은 善(선)하여 惡(악)하지 않다고 되어 있다.
The Taebaek llsa version of the Samil Singo(三一神誥,삼일신고) states that the
True Nature(眞性 진성, Jin-seong)―the genuine,
fundamental nature of human beings ―is inherently good andfree of evil.
그래서 본바탕인 善(선)을 따르면 福(복)이 오고 본바탕과 반대되는 惡(악)을 따르면 禍(화)가 온다고 되어 있다.
Therefore, it states that following the original nature of goodness brings blessings(福,복),
while following evil, which opposes this original nature, brings misfortune(福,복).
그 내용과 본문에서 말하는 인간의 天性(천성)은 인간을 사랑하고 베푸는 것을 기뻐한다는 내용과는 서로 보완이 된다.
This concept and the "heavenly nature" mentioned in the main text ―which states
that humans naturally rejoice in loving and giving ―mutually complement each other.
또 인간의 본바탕 중에 眞精(진정)은 厚(후)하여 薄(박)하지 않다고 되어 있다.
Furthermore, it states that among the funsamental qualities of humans,
the True Essence(眞精 진정, Jin-jeong) is naturally abundant(厚,후) and not lacking(薄,박).
따라서 厚(후)하면 貴(귀)해지고 薄(박)하면 賤(천)해진다고 되어 있다.
Consequently, it is said that being abundant leads to becoming noble(貴,귀),
while being lacking leads to becoming base(賤,천).
이 내용과 본문의 베푸는 것을 기뻐하지 않는즉 천해진다는 내용은 같은 내용임을 알 수 있다.
We can see that this premise shares the exact same meaning as the text′s
assertion that "if one dose not rejoice in giving, one becomes base."
