業(업)은 생계이니 인간이 性理(성리)는 비록 같다해도 性質(성질)과 性氣(성기)는 각각 다르므로 굳세고 유연하며,
강하고 약한 것이 그 가는 길이 각각 다르다.
Eop(業,업 -Livelihood/Occupation) refers to one′s sustenance.
Even though the fundamental human nature and cosmic principles(性理,성리 -Seongri)
may be the same for everyone, each individual′s disposition(性質,성질 -Seongjil)
and Temperamental energy(性氣,성기 - Seonggi) are different.
Conesquently, whethr one is firm, gentle, strong, or weak, the path they walk will vary.
그러나 敎化(교화)가 크게 행하여져 性質(성질)이 윤택하여지고 性氣(성기)가 안정되면
비록 굴속이나 움막에 산다해도 스스로 業(업)이 번영하게 된다.
However, If Gyohwa(敎化,교화 -edification/enlightenment) is widely practiced
so that one′s disposition(性質,성질) becomes eenriched and refined,
and one′s temperamental energy(性氣,성기) becomes stabilized,
their livelihood(業,업) will naturally flourish and prosper ny itself,
even if they live in a mere cave or a humble dugout hut.

業은 生計也라 人之性理 雖同이나 (업은 생계야라 인지성리 수동이나)
Eop is livelihood. Although the fundamental nature and principles
of human beinggs are the same,
性質及性氣가 不同하여 剛柔强弱이 行路各殊라 (성질급성기가 부동하여 강유강약이 행로각수라)
Their dispositions and temperamental energies are not identical;
hence, whether firm or gentle, strong or weak, their paths in life are each distinct.
然이나 敎化大行하여 (연이나 교화대행하여)
Nevertheless, when edification and education are widely practiced,
潤性質而安 性氣則 穴處巢居라도 自榮其業이니라. (윤성질이안 성기즉 혈처소거라도 자영기업이니라.)
enriching their disposition and stabilizing their temperamental energy,
then even those lining in caves or nesting in huts will naturally make their livelihoodss flourish.
