No. 35 : Multaek(勿擇,물택 - Non-Discrimination)...
Not choosing or discriminating... The 136th Matter.
勿擇(물택)은 꺼리낌이 없는 것이다.
Multaek(勿擇,물택) means having no hesitation, restriction, or prejudice.
교화가 널리 퍼져 행하여지는것은 해그림자가 물건을 따라가는것과 같아
어떤 물건에도 비쳐지지 않음이 없으니 어찌 어진사람을 가려서 가르치며,
어질지않은 사람에게는 가르치지 않으리요?
The widespread propagation and practice of enlightenment(edification) is like the shadow
of the sun following an object―there is nothing upon which it does not shine.
Therefore, how could one choose to teach only the wise,
and Refuse to teach thhose who are not yet wise?
그러므로 가르침이란 어리석음과 고쳐 어질게하는 것이다.
Hence, teaching truly means correcting foolishness and leading people back to wisdom and virtue.

勿擇者는 不拘碍也라 (물택자는 불구애야라)
Multaek means not being bound or obstructed by any hindrance or prejudice.
敎化之流行이 如日影隨物하야 無物不照하나 (교화지유행이 여일영수물하야 무물부조하나니)
The flow and spread of edification is like the sun′s shadow folliwing objects,
leaving nothing unilluminated.
何擇賢者而敎之며 不賢者而不敎리오 (하택현자이교지며 불현자이불교리오)
How can one select only the virtuous to teach, and not teach those who are not virtuous?
故로 敎者는 改愚而返賢也라 (고로 교자는 개우이반현야라)
Therefore, teaching is about transforming foolishness and returning people to a state
of wisdom and virtue.
