Teaching Diligently to Attain Mastery... The 137th Matter.
達勉(달면)은 가르침에 힘써서 가르침에 막힘이 없이 통하는 것이다.
Dalmyeon(達勉,달면) means striving with all one′s might in teaching,
thereby achieving a thorough and unobstructed mastery of it.
가르침을 행하는 것은 가르침을 아는것 보다 어렵다.
Practicing teaching is more difficult tham merely Knowing teaching.
가르침에 힘쓰는것은 가르침을 행하는 것보다 어렵다.
Striving and dedicating oneself to teaching is more difficult than simply practing teaching.
가르침에 막힘없이 통하는 것은 가르침에 애쓰는것 보다 어려우니 가르침에 막힘없이 통하면
능히 만물을 사랑하는 이치를 알게된다.
Striving and dedicating oneself to teaching is more difficult than simply practicing teaching.
Achieving unobstructed mastery in teaching is even more diffiicult than striving at teaching;
however, once one achieves this unobstructed mastery,
they naturally come to understand the principle of loving all creaation.

達勉者는 勉敎而達敎也라 (달면자는 면교이달교야라)
Dalmyeon means diligently striving in teaching and thereby fully mastering teaching.
行敎는 難於知敎하고 勉敎는 難於行敎하며 (행교는 난어지교하고 면교는 난어행교하며)
Practicing teaching is harder than knowing teacching,
and striving in teaching is harder than practicing teaching.
達敎는 難於勉敎니 達敎則能知愛物之理니라. (달교는 난어면교니 달교즉능지애물지리니라.)
Mastering teaching is harder than striving in teaching; but once teaching is mastered,
one can truly know the principle of loving all things.
[Interpretation, 풀이]
가르침에도 여러가지 단계가 있고 가르침 차체에도 道(도)와 德(덕)을 포함한다.
There are various stages in teaching,
and the act of teaching itselff encompasses the Way(Dao,道 도) and Virtue(De,德 덕).
가르침은 곧 하늘을 대리하는 것이기 때문이다.
This is because teaching is, in essence, acting as an agent on behalf of Heaven.
