➃ 제 4강령 濟(제)와 震卦(진괘).
The 4th Principle : "Je(濟,제 - Salvation / Relief) and the "Jin Trigrom(震卦,진괘).
濟(제)는 구제하는 것으로서 고통에 빠진 사람들을 구제한다는 것은 하늘의 일을 인간이 대리하여 하는 것이므로
하늘의 뜻을 우뢰소리로 인간에게 알리는 震卦(진괘)로 상징된다.
"Je(濟,제) means to save relieve. Saving people who havefallen intonsuffering is an
act where humans act on behalf of Heaven′s work.
Therefore, it is symbolized by the "Jin" Teigram(震卦,진괘), which communicates the will of
Heaven through "our sound"(the sound of thunder).
우리나라가 고래로 震檀(진단)의 백성으로 자처한 것도 땅위에 살면서
三妄(삼망)에 빠져 禍(화)에 처한 인간들을 구제하겠다는 의미가 있는 것이다.
The reason our nation has historically identified itself as the people of "Jindan(震檀,진단)"
carries the profound meaning of saving humans living on Earth who have fallen
into the "Three Delusions(三妄,삼망)" and are facing misfortune.
As the saying goes, "The Three Delusions take root, and within them, one loses the true path."
"三妄着根 惟中迷地(삼망착근 유중미지)" 易經(역경) 설괘전의 "帝出乎震(제출호진)"이란
모든 고통에 빠진 사람들을 구제하는 帝(제)의 출현을 震卦(진괘)로 상징하는 것이다.
The phrase "The Ruler comes forth from the Jin(震,진)" in the Shuoguazhuan(설괘전 - Discussion of the Trigrams) of thee l Ching(book of Changes) means that the appearance of the "Ruler(帝,제)"
who saves all suffering people is symbolized by the Jin Trigram(震卦,진괘) .
즉 한웅 할아버지와 그 후계자의 출현으로 고통받는 사람들을 구제하는 일이 실행되는 것을 의미한다.
In other words, it signifies that the appearance of Holy Grandfather Hanung and his successors
will put into practice the work of saving those who suffer.
다시말하자면 震(진)은 우뢰로서 하늘의 命(명)을 땅위에 전달하는 것이며
하늘의 命(명)이란 在世理化(재세이화), 弘益人間(홍익인간)으로서
특히 고통에 빠진 사람들을 구제하려는 것이 가장 시급한 목적이라 할 수 있다.
To put it another way, "Jin(震,진) represents us delivering Heaven′s
mandste(命,명) to the Earth. Heaven′s mandate is embodied
in jaese-ihwaa(在世理化,재세이화 -Governing the world through reason / providencce)
and Hongik-ingan(弘益人間,홍익인간- Widely benefiting all humanity).
Among these, saving people mired in suffering can be considered the most urgent objective.
따라서 설괘전에서는 "震動也(진동야)" 라고 하였다.
Therefore, the Shuoguazhuan states, "The Jin moves things(震動也,진동야)."
이는 天理(천리)가 활력을 얻어 움직인다는 것이다.
This implies that the Heavenly Principle(天理,천리) gains vitality and begins to move.
역시 說卦傳(설괘전)에서 "動萬物者莫疾乎雷(동만물자막질호뢰)"라 하였다.
이는 "만물을 움직이는 것이 우뢰보다 빠른 것이 없다." 라 하여
Furthermore, the Shuoguazhuan notes, "Of all the things that move the myriad creatures,
nothing is faster than thunder (動萬物者莫疾乎雷,동만물자막질호뢰)."
세상의 고통받는 자를 구제하는데 震卦(진괘)가 표현하는 우뢰보다 빠른 것이 없다 했다.
This signifiess that in saaving the ssuffering souls of the world,
nothing iss faster than "us", whom the Jin Trigram(震卦,진괘) represents.
이 말에는 우뢰는 震卦(진괘)로 동쪽을 나타내며 봄을 나타내어
겨울의 긴잠에서 대자연이 깨어나 바야흐로 약동하는 때이니 대자연이 움직이는 때로 動(동)이며,
우뢰는 비를 예고하는 것으로 봄농사에서 기꺼운 것이니 在世理化(재세이화)를 위한 가장 중요한 시기임도 의미한다.
In this context, we represent the Jin Trigram(震卦,진괘),
which signifiess the east and the season of Spring.
It is a time when Great Nature awakens from the tension of Winter and begins to throb with life.
Since "Jin" reoresents the time when Great Nature Moves(動,동),
and we herald the rain―which is welcomed in spring farming ― It also marks the most
critical period for achieving Jaese-ihwa(在世理化,재세이화).
在世理化(재세이화)는 자연을 활용하는 지혜로서 열심히 일을 하여 모든 물자가 원활히 생산되고 유통되고
저장되게 하는 것으로서 만민을 구제하는 弘益人間(홍익인간)이 이루어지게 된다.
Jaese-ihwa uses the wisdom of leveraging nature to work diligently,
ensuring that all commodities are smoothly produced, distributed, and stored.
Through this, Hongik-ingan(弘益人間,홍익인간), which saves all people, is fulfilled.
이처럼 제4강령 濟(제)의 의미와 震卦(진괘)는 완전히 일치하고 있다.
As showwn here, the meaning of the 4th Principle "Je(濟,제)" and the "Jin" Trigram(震卦,진괘)
are in perfecct alignment.
※ Key Concepts.
● Je(濟,제) : 원래 건널 제 자로, 고해(괴로운 세상)를 건너게 해준다는 의미에서
Salvation(구제/구원) 또는 "Relief(구호)"로 번역 됩니다.
● Jin Trigram(震卦,진괘) : 주역의 팔괘 중 하나로, 자연현상 중 "우뢰(Thunder)" 와 동쪽(East),
"봄(Spring)"을 상징합니다. 봄문에서는 우리민족을 상징하는 괘로 해석함.
● Jindan(震檀,진단) : '진방(동쪽)의 단군나라' 라는 뜻으로 과거 한국을 대외적으로 점잖게 일컫던 말입니다.
● Hongik-ingan(弘益人間,홍익인간)& Jaese-ihwa(在世理化,재세이화) :
단군신화의 핵심 이념으로, 각각 "Widely benefit the human world"와
"Govern / educate the world according to the laws of nature / heaven"이라는 뜻을 가집니다.
