The Time Has Passed... Case No. 153
往時(왕시)는 시기를 지나쳐 버림이다.
Wangsi(往時,왕시) means to let the appropriate time slip away completely.
병이 있으나 시기를 놓쳐 버린다면 새로운 기운을 다시 살려내지 못하며 올바른 도를 전개하지 못하게 된다.
If one has a disease but misses the window for treatment,
they will fail to revive their vital energy and will become unable to unfold the righteous Way.
그 사악한 바탕을 혁신하는 것은 사악한 뿌리를 즉각적으로 제거시켜야 하는 것이다.
Reforming a corrupt foundation requires the immediate eradication of its wicked roots.

往時者는 過去時也라 (왕시자는 과거시야라)
'Wangsi(往時,왕시 - missing the right time)' means
'Gwagosingya(過去時, 과거시- the time that has already passed).'
有病諸過時에 不能蘇新氣하고 (유병제과시에 불능소신기하고)
If a disease is left untreated until the proper time has passed,
one cannot revive new vital ebergy,
未展以正道나 革其邪根이면 (미전이정도나 혁기사근이면)
and though the righteous Way has not yet unfolded,
if one wishes to reform that wiccked foundation,
邪根이 卽除니라. (사근이 즉제니라.)
the wicked roots must be removed immediately.

고름을 아무리 오래 나 두어도 살이 되지 않는다.
No matter how iong you leave pus alone, it will never turn into healthy flesh.
그리고 갈수록 병만 커진다.
Instead, the illness will only grow worse over time.
이러한 사악한 것은 더 커지지 전에 즉각적으로 제거하여 때를 놓치지않고 뿌리 째 뽑는 것이 중요하다.
It is critical to act without missing the right moment,
eradicating such wickedness immediately by the roots before it grows any larger.
