Section 13 : Yeokjong(易種,역종)... Changing the Seed... case 161.
易種(역종)은 하늘이 만물을 내심에 근본을 바꾸어 가며 내시는 것이다.
Yeokjong(易種,역종) means that heaven, in bringing forth all things,
does so by altering their fundamental seeds.
하늘이 만물을 구제함에 극히 귀하거나 극히 번성함이 없게 하시며 극히 쇠락함도 없게 하셔서
만물이 귀하고 번성하면 반드시 천하고 쇠락해지며 천하고 쇠락하면 반드시 귀하고
번성하게 된다는 것은 이쪽에 나는 것을 저쪽으로 바꾸시고 저쪽에 나는 것을 이쪽으로 바꾸시니
인간의 성품도 바꾸어 인간의 지혜가 널리 미치게 하는 것이다.
In saving all things, Heaven ensures that there is no extreme nobility,
no extreme prosperity, no extreme baseness, and no extreme decline.
If all things become noble and prosperous, they will inevitably become base and decline;
if they become base and decline, they will inevitably become noble and prosperous.
This means Heaven change what grows on this side to that side,
and changes what grows on that side to this side,
Thus, it alters human nature as well, allowing human wisdom to extend far and wide.

易種者는 天이 易所産物種也라 (역종자는 천이 역소산물종야라)
Changing the types[of lineages or fortunes] means that Heaven changes
the types of things it produces.
天이 濟物에 無極貴極盛하며 無極賤極衰하나니 (천이 제물에 무극귀극성하며 무극천극쇠하나니)
When heaven governs and provides for all things,
it does not allow noble things to remain at the peak of prosperity indefinitely,
nor does it allow lowly things to remain at the bottom of decline forever.
凡物이 貴盛이면 必賤衰하고 (범물이 귀성이면 필천쇠하고)
For all things, if they reach peak nobility and peossperity,
they will inevitably face lowliness and decline.
賤衰면 必貴盛者는 天이 易此産於彼하고 (천쇠면 필귀성자는 천이 역차산어피하고)
The reason why things that have declined and become lowly will surely rise again
to nobility and prosperity is that Heaven shifts the production of this place over to that place,
易彼産於此하여 換人性하며 達人知니라. (역피산어차하여 환인성하며 달인지니라.)
and shifts the production of that place over to this place―thereby changing
the character / nature of people. Those of high wisdom(enlightened people) know this truth.
[Interpretation, 풀이]
부자가 삼대를 못간다는 말처럼 어느 가문이든 결국은 공평하게
부귀빈천을 누리는 것을 주위에서 쉽게 볼 수 있다.
Just as the old saying goes, 'Wealth does not last past the third generation,'
we caneasily see around us that every family eventually experiences wealth,
nobility, poverty, and lowliness in a fair and balanced cycle.
이 이치는 나라와 민족에게도 마찬가지로 적용되는 것을 역사를 통해 알수있다.
Through history, we can understand that this samw principle applies equally
to nationss and ethnic groups.
이것이 하늘의 이치라는 것이다.
This is precisely the providence(law) og Heaven.
