Welcome to Da Ai Headlines. I'm Maggie Tsai. Thank you for joining us. In Malaysia, a Filipino single mother has been diagnosed with kidney disease. Her dialysis treatment causes her to have a large medical expense. Fortunately Tzu Chi helped her with financial support and also cleaned her messy home, providing her a comfortable living environment to undergo dialysis process at home.
2.檳城屠妖節
Deepavali is an important festival in Hindu in Malaysia. It aims to drive away the darkness and defeats evil with goodness. Mariappan, who used to be Tzu Chi dialysis patient, is also a devout Hindu. To him, Deepavali is a grand festival and let's see how he celebrated the festival.
3.檳城屠妖志工
This year, Tzu Chi volunteers have invited a care recipient to prepare Indian cuisine for the celebration.

If one takes care of one's own heart, society will be harmonious. If everyone's heart is at peace, the world will be blessed.
4.零廢棄奇蹟(1)零廢奇蹟村
What kind of a town does not have a garbage landfill set up? In Japan's Tokushima Prefecture, there is a town called Kamikatsu. Since 2003, the town has been following the zero waste campaign and is now doing 80 percent recyclable waste with only 20 percent of discards turning into fuel for the local hot spring hotels. Local residents use their imagination and turn many old items into new items, helping to sustain this concept.
5.新澤西食物銀行
Tzu Chi New Jersey Chapter launched a food pantry on 2010. After nine years, there are now 2032 households that had registered to receive food as more than a hundred thousand people have been helped. Let's meet the volunteers behind the scenes.

Many care recipients have reciprocated the love by helping the volunteers. The cycle of goodness, is truly priceless.
