6월 5일 보시 일기
까막득한 옛 제자가 떡을 보내왔다.
맛 좋은 참살떡이다.
안에는 달달한 팥이 듬뿍 들어있다.
부처님에 전에 올리고 알아차림으로
의식을 하듯 하나를 먹었다.
하늘 보고 먹으니 내가 하늘되어 하늘이 먹는 것 같았다.
하늘 아래 모든 존재 같이 먹고 행복하기를!
이 공덕으로 우리 선미
행복하고 건강하고 복된 삶이기를!
감사가 넘쳐흐르는 삶이길!
June 5 Giving Diary
A student from the distant past sent me rice cakes.
They are delicious glutinous rice cakes,
filled generously with sweet red bean paste.
I offered them before the Buddha,
and then, with mindfulness,
ate one as though performing a sacred ritual.
As I ate while looking up at the sky,
it felt as if I had become the sky,
and the sky itself was eating.
May all beings beneath this sky
eat together and be happy.
Through the merit of this offering,
may our dear Seonmi
live a happy, healthy, and blessed life.
May her life overflow with gratitude.
