6월 10일 보시 일기
밭에 일하는데 이웃에 사는 모란 엄니가 왔다.
꼭 안아 주었다.
먹으려고 가져온 쌉쌀떡을 손에 쥐어주고 안부를 확인했다.
모든 것을 말해 주었다.
귀여워 얼굴을 쓰다듬어 주었다.
꼭 딸 같이 어여쁘다.
마음 다해 들어주고 사랑스럽게 바라보았다.
그녀에 대한 나의 마음 보시다.
June 10 Giving Diary
While I was working in the field,
Moran’s mother, who lives nearby, came by.
I gave her a warm hug.
I placed in her hand the mugwort rice cake I had brought to eat,
and asked how she had been.
She told me everything.
She was so dear and lovely
that I gently stroked her face.
She is as pretty and precious as a daughter.
I listened to her with all my heart
and looked at her with loving eyes.
That was my offering of the heart to her.
