It was so much hesitated ministry this time due to the very consistent and obvious forecast of strong wind.
It was very windy the day before and supposed to be the same at the day but we decided to go on even we might have to wrap up earlier because the wind might be picking up in the noon after calm morning.
The relatively calm morning, however, was far from being calm and obviously became stronger even much before the noon.
Eventually, we had to end the ministry in 2 hours at noon.
However, we had 24 acu-services and 13 children ministries in 2 hours; the record high in an unit time, 12 acu and 6.5 children per an hour.
God gave us challenge, we said yes even if it were limited, many were happy, we were also happy, and hope He might be pleased.
We could do this because this time, the second time, we had visiting helpers from Maryland.
Because of their presence, I could go on with comfort and confidence.
God is good!
If we didn't step in, however, we might have missed His faithfulness of the day.

24 침치료 (4 재방문, 20 첫 방문)
13 어린이사역
이번 사역은 일관되고 분명한 강풍 예고로 인하여 매우 망설일 수밖에 없는 사역이었다.
전날에도 바람이 심하게 불었고 그 바람은 당일에도 계속되었으나 잔잔한 오전에 이어 정오경에 바람이 심해진다 하여 일찍 철수하는 한이 있어도 사역을 시작하기로 하였다.
그러나 상대적으로 조용했던 아침마저 잔잔함과는 거리가 멀었고 정오가 되기도 전에 강풍으로 변하였다.
결국 두 시간 후, 정오가 되면서 사역을 중지할 수밖에 없었다.
그러나 우리는 결국 24명의 침치료와 13명의 어린이사역을 감당했으니 단위시간 한 시간당 최고기록인 침치료 12명과 6.5명 어린이사역을 감당한 셈이다.
하나님은 우리에게 도전을 주셨고 우리는 부족하나마 응답했으며 주민들과 우리가 더불어 행복했으니 하나님도 기뻐하셨기를 바랄 뿐이다.
당일의 사역을 이렇게 감당할 수 있었던 것은 이번에 장마당사역 두 번째로 메릴랜드에서 방문한 선교팀의 도움을 받았기 때문이었다.
그들의 동행이 나의 마음을 편안하고 든든하게 만들어준 것이다.
좋으신 하나님이시다.
그러나 우리가 발을 내딛지 않았다면 당일 베풀어주신 하나님의 신실하심을 놓치고 말았을 것이다.
