intertrochanter에서 trochanter는 대퇴골이 골반뼈와 연결 되는 골두라는 부분에 두개의 볼록한 부분이 있습니다 그것을 큰 것은 greater trochanter, 작은 것은 lesser trochanter라 부릅니다.
intertrochanter는 두 trochanter사이를 말하는 것입니다.
그러므로 대퇴골의 두 trochanter 사이에 무엇인가 병변이 있다는 뜻입니다.
