처음 활을 선택할때 오른손잡이인가 왼손잡이인가에 따라 활을 선택합니다. 그런데 이런 상황에서 주안시가 일치하지 않을때는 문제가 됩니다. 오른손잡이인데 오른눈이 주안시이거나, 왼손잡이인데 왼눈이 주안시면 별다른 문제가 없습니다. 그렇지만 일치하지 않을 때는 손에 맞추면 조준점이 일치하지 않는 문제가 생기게 되고, 눈에 맞추면 힘이 부족해서 문제가 됩니다.
그래서 일단 손에 맞추는 경우나, 오래동안 활 쏘고 있는데 주안시가 일치하지 않는 경우, 주안시를 바꿔야 합니다. 일단 활만 쏜다면 주안시를 따라가는게 좋습니다.
일단 어느 쪽이 주안시인지 알아 봅시다. 두눈을 뜬 상태로 5미터 정도 떨어진 물건을 본다. 그리고 오른쪽 손을 들어 손가락으로 이 물건과 일치시킨다. 그리고 이제 그 상태에서 왼쪽 손으로 왼쪽 눈을 가린다. 그리고 담에는 오른쪽 눈을 가려보자.
그러면 사물과 손가락이 일치하는 눈이 있고, 일치하지 않는 쪽의 눈이 있을 것이다. 일치하는 방향의 눈이 바로 주안시이다.
주안시를 바꾸는 방법은 간단합니다. 주안시를 가리는겁니다. 애꾸눈 사법이 해결책입니다.
일단 주안시가 되는 눈을 가립니다. 이렇게 되면 비주안시인 눈은 주안시가 되도록 강요를 받게 됩니다. 왼눈잡이는 왼눈을 감거나 패치를 대서 눈을 가리고, 오른눈으로 활을 쏩니다. 오른눈을 주안시로 쓸 수 있을 때까지요. 이에 대한 야후 대답은 2년 정도 걸렸다고 합니다. 이런 분들은 자기 의지에따라 왼눈으로도 오른눈으로도 주안시 역할을 쓸 수 있습니다.

우궁인데 왼눈잡이인 경우 조준을 하면 사물이 두개로 보이는 현상이 나타납니다. 활대가 두개로 보입니다. 이 중 좌측으로 보이는 것이 우측눈으로 잡은 겁니다. 그러므로 두개의 활대 중에 좌측에 보이는 활대에 맞추어 쏘는 겁니다.
이걸 연습하는 방법은 매직아이입니다. 매직아이는 물건을 볼때 주시안인 한쪽 눈으로 보는 것을 두 눈으로 보게 하면서 생기는 겹침을 이용하는 겁니다. 매직아이는 사물의 형태를 볼때 주시안 하나를 쓰는게 아닌 두눈으로 물건을 보게 만듭니다.
매직아이로 사물이 두개로 보이면 안정적으로 잘 잡아준 상태에서 우궁이면 왼쪽에 보이는 사물에 맞춰서 슈팅을 하면됩니다. 매직아이를 많이하거나 활대를 뚫어져라보면, 우궁 오른눈잡이도 사물이 두개로 보입니다. 이 경우도 왼쪽에 보이는 활대를 기준으로슈팅합니다. 좌궁은 오른쪽에 보이는 활대가 기준입니다.
Keep practicing using your nondominant eye and obscuring the dominant eye. Eye dominance becomes fixed at about 10 years of age and muscle memory is used. This can take a very long time to overcome. If you cannot learn to shoot on the side with eye dominance, then just keep practicing to change your eye dominance. If you are really desperate, consider wearing an eyepatch over the dominant eye. This forces the other eye to do all the work.

There ya go. Read that and work it out. There simply is no miracle cure. One of my boys was right handed and left eye dominate. He ended up learning how to shoot with both right and left eyes and arms. So now that hes a man he can pick up a left handed rifle and fire it left eye and left hand and visa versa. I used shooting glasses and at time an eye patch. But he learned this; its easier to teach your arms than your eyes, at least it was for him. It took him a couple years to do this. So don’t expect instant results.

No its not dangerous, if you cant see what you are aiming at dont aim at it and use the other eye and arm. Or get corrective glasses from a doctor and try again.I have a left dominant eye, but shoot right handed. This causes great problems for me such as cross-eyed image and somethimes double target vision. I've read on this web site about using scotch tape and other solutions, but found them messy and hard to remove. So, I bought some Magic Eye Dots and they work just great!! I would recommend these Dots over anyother method. At least thats been my experience. Any other ideas? I found the Dots at the URL above.
