Talk about phishing schemes.
Phishing schemes are running rampant.
They are a type of Confidence schem that uses
illegally obtained personal information to steal money.
Major types of phishing schemes include smishing
and voice phishing.
Smishing in a con that uses test messages.
When a victim taps on an internet link in a text message,
malware is installed on their phone.
Personal information or money is then released.
Meanwhile, voice phishing uses phone calls to
take advantage of the victim.
These phishing schemes use underhanded methods.
They trick people by posing as family members, friends,
or even official institutions.
If you let your guard down, you can easily be duped
by these schemes.
피싱 사기에 대해서 이야기해 주세요.
피싱 사기가 기승을 부리고 있다.
피싱 사기란 불법으로 취득한 개인 정보를 이용해서
돈을 빼돌리는 일종의 사기 행각을 의미한다.
이러한 피싱 사기에는 스미싱과 보이스 피싱이 대표적이다.
스미싱이란 문자 메세지(SMS)를 이용한 피싱 사기이다.
문자 메시지에 포함된 인터넷 링크를 누르면, 사용자의
휴대폰에 악성 코드가 설치된다.
그로 인해 개인 정보나 돈이 빠져나가게 된다.
반면 보이스 피싱은 전화 통화로 상대를 속이는 방식이다.
이러한 피싱 사기들은 교묘한 수법으로 진행된다.
마치 가족, 지인, 심지어 공공기관인 척 행세를 하며
사람들을 속인다.
경계를 늦추면 자칫 이러한 사기에 넘어가기 쉽다.
