Talk about hiking.
Because of COVID-19 outbreak, oversea's travellings
have been impossible for a while.
Travelling in domestic area, I try not to visit the polular places.
Those reasons have drived the hiking become popular as a trend.
Personally, I've gone on a hike more than 10 years.
However I barely saw some young people do the hiking these days.
In the past, some hikers who were in their 40's were young range
among them.
However, recently more than half of the hikers are in their 20's.
Even there is a long line to take pictures at the tip of the mountain.
Korean territory is composed by mountains more than 70 percents.
In this country, hiking is one of the good excercises
and it doesn't need special equipment and cost at all.
Recently, some local government has been maintained the roads
for the beginners so that they could enjoy the hiking.

1. Describe a time when you went hiking.
How did it feel?
I'd like to mention it first that I'm now avid hiker at all.
I prefer beach to mountain.
However, choosing one memory on the hikings,
I remembered a hiking to the Bukhan-mountain in Seoul.
I had just discharged the army service, so my body condition
was so good.
When I went a hiking with my best friend, I easily climbed up
the mountain even on the rocky points.
It gave me a quite good feeling.
Never tired and felt good.

오늘 주제는 등산입니다.
저도 소시적에 산에 좀 다녔는데요,
아내와 아이들이 싫어하다보니 못가게 되네요.
아무래도 아직은 주말엔 가족과 함께가 더 좋은 것 같습니다.

코로나19로 해외 여행이 어려워졌고, 국내여행을 할 때도
사람 많은 곳은 피하게 되서 등산이 트렌드가 되었다는 것.
예전엔 40대도 어린 편이었는데 요즘 등산하는 사람들의 반은
20대고, 산 꼭대기에서 사진 찍으려고 순서를 기다리기도
한다는 것. 대한민국은 70%가 산으로 구성되어 있어서
등산만한 운동이 없다는 것.
돈이 드는 것도 아니고 특수 장비가 필요한 것도 아니고
등산로도 잘 정비되어 있다는 얘기를 하고 있습니다.

산에 오를 때는 힘들지만, 오르내리다 그늘에서 쉴 때
바람의 상쾌함, 정상에 올랐을 때의 짜릿한 쾌감,

등산객들과 어울리는 모든 것이 하나의 인생을 보는 듯도
합니다.

최근에는 산에 가보지 않아서 그렇게 인기가 있는지는
모르겠네요. 한때 SNS에서 레깅스만 입고 등산해서

어떻게 보면 일종의 놀이 문화 소재였던 건 아닐까도
생각할 수도 있을 것 같습니다.

등산갈 때 장비라면, 물이나 간단한 간식을 담을 만한 작은
배낭과 땀을 닦을 수 있는 낯수건, 겨울이라면 눈길, 얼음길
미끄러짐을 방지해줄 아이젠 정도면 되지 않을까 싶습니다.
지팡이를 가지고 다니시는 분들이 많던데, 아직 그렇게
오랜시간 트레킹을 해보지 않아서겠지만 큰 도움이 되는지는
모르겠네요.
