친환경 자동차에 대해서 이야기해 주세요.

친환경 자동차에 대해 사람들의 관심이 늘어나고 있다.
친환경 자동차는 대략 하이브리드차, 전기차, 수소 연료
전기차로 구분이 된다.
- More and more people's interest in eco-friendly cars
is on the rise.
Broadly speaking, eco-friendly cars can be categorized
as hybrid, electiric, or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
+ be on the rise :상승세이다, 증가 추세이다,
증가하고 있다

+ eco-friendly : 친환경의
+ broadly speaking:대략적으로 말하자면(비인칭독립분사구문),
대충, 대략(=roughly speaking)
+ categorize : 분류하다(=classify)
cf) be categoized as : ~로 분류되다
+ vehicle : 탈 것, 차량, 운송수단
우선 하이브리드차는 기존 내연 기관 엔진에 모터가
추가된 것으로,모터가 동력을 공급하는 보조 역할을 합니다.
이로 인해 연비가 향상되지만 여전히 내연 엔진을 사용하기
때문에 진정한 친환경 자동차는 아니다.
-For hybrid cars, a motor is added on top of
a conventional combustion engine.
The motor acts as a backup to privide power.
This improves fuel effieciency(=mileage), but it's not
a true sense of eco-friendly car since it still
uses a combustion engine.

+ act as a backup : 보조 역할을 하다
cf) backup : 지원,예비(물)품
+ conventional : 재래의, 기존의
하지만 어느 정도는 미래차를 향한 가교 역할을 한다고
볼 수 있다고 한다.
In a way, it is said that hybrid cars act as a bridge
toward future cars, though.

그에 반해서 전기차와 수소 연료 전지차는 오로지 전기
모터만을 동력원으로 사용한다.
이산화탄소 배출이 전혀 없다는 점에서 이 두 차종은
진정한 의미의 친환경 자동차이다.

get their power only(=exclusively) from electric motors.
They are eco-friendly cars in the truest sense because
they don't emit any carbon dioxide at all.

전기차의 모터는 배터리로부터 전기를 공급받는다.
한편 수소가 산소와 (화학) 반응을 일으켜 전기를 발생시키고,
수소연료 전지차는 동력원으로서 이 전기를 사용한다.
- Motors for electric vehicles get electricity from a batery.
Meanwhile, hydrogen reacts chemically with oxygen
to produce energy, and a hydrogen fuel cell car uses
it as its power source.

친환경 자동차에 대한 사람들의 관심이 증가하고 있습니다.
Roughly speaking, eco-friendly cars can be categorized
as hybrid, electric, or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
대략적으로, 친환경 차는 분류할수 있습니다,
하이브리드차, 전기차 혹은 수소 연료 전지차로
Hybrid cars add a motor on top of a
conventional combustion engine.
하이브리드 차는 모터가 추가된 것이예요. 기존 내연 엔진에

그 모터가 동력을 공급하는 보조 역할을 합니다.
This improves mileage, but it's not a true eco-friendly car

수소 연료 전지차는 수소와 산소의 화학반응에 의해
전기를 공급받습니다.
