Little friend,
Look at the cherry blossoms.
See how they bloom.

Some flowers want to bloom early,
But they wait.
Some flowers want to bloom later,
But they hurry.
Still, they all bloom together
Just look at them!

Little friend,
Look at the cherry blossoms.
See how they fall.

Some flowers want to fall early,
But they wait.
Some flowers want to fall later,
But they hurry.
Still, they all fall together
Just look at them!

Their hearts bloom together.
Their hearts fall together.

Little friend,
Think about those hearts.

We too, like cherry blossoms,
We too, like cherry blossoms,
Can walk the hard road together.
Can do hard work together.

어린 동무야

벚꽃을 보아라

꽃 필 때 보아라

먼저 피고 싶은 꽃은

먼저 피고 싶어도 꾹 참고

나중에 피고 싶은 꽃은

나중에 피고 싶어도 서둘러

모두 함께 피는 벚꽃을 보아라

어린 동무야

벚꽃을 보아라

꽃 질 때 보아라

먼저 지고 싶은 꽃은

먼저 지고 싶어도 꾹 참고

나중에 지고 싶은 꽃은

나중에 지고 싶어도 서둘러

모두 함께 지는 벚꽃을 보아라

함께 피고 함께 지는

벚꽃의 마음

어린 동무야

그 마음을 잘 헤아려 보아라

우리도 벚꽃처럼

험한 길 함께 가자

힘든 일 함께 하자
