Dinner and My Favorite Flower and Bungeoppang

I

After finishing my homework

Reading a book borrowed from the school library

Waiting for my father

Mother has already set the table

But my father hasn't come yet

Kimchi stew is getting cold

And the pancakes are getting cold

My stomach is growling

Mom, it's time to eat

She says to wait a little longer

Ah, then the sound of my father's footsteps

My father, who works at the factory

Comes in with a smile

Saying that he's even later today

I'm glad I waited!

II

When the family is all gathered for dinner

"Oh, well, all this happened today!"

"What happened, what happened?"

My father and mother tell stories one after another

When the family is all gathered for dinner

"Today in Korean class, teacher ···"

"During lunch, something like this happened in our class ···"

My sister and I also tell stories

When the family is all together in the evening

We listen to each other's stories

And my family members laugh together

Hahaha Hehehe Hohoho Heuheuheu

My house blooms with stories and laughter

My favorite flowers are the stories and

Laughter that my family members bloom

A grandma

Waiting for a bus

With her grandson

Unfolding the paper money

She buys her grandson bungeoppangs

One bungeo

Two bungeos

Every time the grandson puts it in his mouth

Grandma gets so happy

Regardless of whether the bus is late or not

The sparrow family

Sitting on the power line

Watching from the beginning

They also seem to be in a good mood

숙제 다 해놓고

학교 도서관에서 빌린 책을 읽으며

아버지를 기다리는 저녁

어머니는 벌써

밥상을 차려 놓았는데

아버지는 여태 안 오신다

김치찌개가 식어 가고

부침개도 식어 가고

배 속에서는 꼬르륵 소리

어머니 이제 밥 먹어요 하니까

조금만 더

기다리자고 한다

아아, 그때 아버지 발자국 소리

공장에서 일하시다가

오늘은 더욱 늦었다며

씩, 웃으시며

들어오시는 아버지

기다리길 참 잘했구나!

식구들이 모두 모인 저녁이면

“아, 글쎄 오늘 이런 일이 다 있었다니까!”

“무슨 일이 있었어요, 무슨 일인데요,”

아버지 어머지가 주거니 받거니

이야기꽃을 피우지요

식구들이 모두 모인 저녁이면

“오늘 국어 시간에 선생님이 ···.”

“점심시간에 우리 반에서 이런 일이 ···.”

누나와 나도 서로 뒤질세라

이야기꽃을 피우지요

식구들이 모두 모인 저녁이면

서로의 이야기를 듣다가

우리 식구들은

하하하 허허허 호호호 흐흐흐

웃음꽃을 피우지요

식구들이 모두 모인 저녁이면

우리 집은 이야기꽃 웃음꽃을 피우지요

내가 가장 좋아하는 꽃은

우리 식구들이 피우는

이야기꽃 웃음꽃이지요

손자 데리고

버스를 기다리던 할머니

꼬깃꼬깃 접은

종이돈 펴서

손자에게 붕어빵을 사 주고 있다

붕어 한 마리

붕어 두 마리

손자 입으로 들어갈 때마다

할머니 흐뭇해하고 있다

버스가 늦게 오건 말건

전깃줄에 앉아 있던

참새네 식구들

처음부터 지켜보고는

저희들도 기분이 좋은지

짹짹짹 짹짹짹

가족
