When spring comes, let’s read and play
Reading poems every day.
Let’s decide with happy hearts
To read God’s poems in all their parts.
Every flower, bright and fair
Is a poem blooming there.
In the fields and on the hill
God has written with great skill.
Every blade of grass so green
Holds a poem soft and keen.
Growing, reaching, fresh and new
Written just for me and you.
Every leaf on every tree
Dancing light and dancing free
Is a poem God has made
Carefully in sun and shade.
When spring comes, the world you see
Is a book of poetry.
Everywhere, both near and far
God’s own poems shining are.
When spring comes, come sing with me
Read the world’s bright poetry.
Arm in arm, let voices rise
Reading poems beneath the skies.
Till our voices, loud and clear
Echo joy for all to hear.
봄이 오면

봄이 오면 시를 읽자
하느님이 날마다
직접 써서 보여 주는 시를
우리 모두 다 함께 마음먹고 읽어 보자
산에 들에 피고 있는 꽃이란 꽃은
하느님이 애써 쓴 시다
산에 들에 돋아나고 있는 풀이란 풀도
하느님이 힘들여 쓴 시다
나무마다 가지마다
달고 있는 새잎들도
하느님이 공들여 쓴 시다
봄이 오면 온 누리가 하느님의 시로 가득하다
봄이 오면 시를 읽자
온 누리 가득한 하느님의 시를
우리 모두 다 함께 어깨동무하고
목이 쉬도록 읽어 보자
