USC의 경우 보험조건이

To waive the USC Student Health Insurance Plan, your other coverage must:

1. The waiver request must be submitted by September 14, 2007 for the fall semester and by February 1, 2008 for the spring semester and summer session. You may also request a full academic year waiver by submitting proof of adequate health care coverage and by checking the appropriate box on the waiver form. The deadline for full year waiver is September 14, 2007.
2. Must provide at least $500,000 in lifetime aggregate coverage (no per incident maximum).
3. Must cover the student for the entire coverage period.
4. Must have effective dates covering entire semester: Fall 2007 (August 20, 2007 through January 13, 2008), Spring/Summer 2008 (January 14, 2008 through August 17, 2008).
5. Must pay for at least 80% of covered expenses.
6. Must provide proof with your name on it (identification card or insurance policy).
7. Must have a deductible of $2,500 or less per policy year.
8. The plan description must be provided in the English language, currency must be converted to U.S. dollars and there must be an insurance contact number in the United States.

학교보험의 경우 가입기간동안 총 보상한도가 $500,000을 요구하고있습니다.

한국에서 가입하시고 가는 보험의경우는 건수가 무제한이시기 때문에 보상한도가 무한대 입니다.

deductible의 경우도 AIG같은경우는 질병에서 10만원만 공제하시면 되시구요..

그러므로 AIG의 S-3, S-4, S-5번중에서 하나 선택하시면 되십니다.

가족분의경우도 미국의 의료수가를 감안하셔서 최소 상해치료실비, 질병치료실비 기준으로 $30,000이상을 가입을 하고 가시는것을 추천하고 있습니다.

플랜표에서 S-6이나 S-5을 선택하시면 되십니다.
