Ezequiel's artistic search is of an exquisite geniality. He has managed, through his dance, to re-elaborate the paths of tradition bringing them together in a new and unexpected fashion. Smooth, deep and magnetic, a dance characterised for being organic and dynamic.
Eugenia Parrilla has been pivotal in the development of a contemporary dancing style for women. The female role has been redefined by an attitude that shines through its plasticity and musicality.
Eugenia shows us, once again, less is more.
New partnership, fresh inspiration for the dance floors.

Özhan Araz & Serkan Gokcesu
Özhan and Serkan meet the modern urban environment in all its different faces.
Their style reaches from the fundamental basics to the spectacular figures performed at their shows – figures that result from the strong combination of a man dancing with another man. Always ready to lead or follow – double possibilities of interpretation.
Ozhan & Serkan tend to develop a strong bond with their students, their main source of inspiration.
Their rapidly acquired international success has recently been endorsed by tangueros in Buenos Aires and Rosario.

Hypnotic couple, full of mystery. From their deep research in tango and their dance and theatre background they forged a style that is refined and exotic, rich in colours and shades.
Organisers of "CETA" (Experimental club of Tango Art) and directors of "Resurreccion Urbana" a remarkable tango nuevo and fusion play.
A committed and accessible couple, full of beauty.

Sergio Natario and Alejandra Arrue

Sergio and Alejandra are two of the most respected and influential maestros in today's Buenos Aires' tango scene. This will be their first tour of North America and we are honored to have them at this year's Festival.  They have been teaching and performing tango together for more than fifteen years. Born from the roots of milonguero club dancing, they have developed a style that is unique to them. Their early influnces were Antonio Tobaro and Pepito Avellanada and they have continued their development in collaboration with maestros such as Mingo Pugliese, Alejandra Aquino and others. They tour extensively throughout Europe and South America and run schools for tango both in Buenos Aires and Naples, Italy. Their dance has an elegance and ryhthm that combines and synthesizes the old and the new in tango. This will be an oppoprtunity to watch and learn from two of the best in tango today.  Sergio y Alejandra

Diego and Negracha Lanau

From Buenos Aires, Diego and Negracha are ambassadors of the close embrace style of tango. Their love of Argentine tango permeates their performances and their classes.  Each has a deep understanding of the lead and follow roles and they instill in their students an understanding of tango from the basic walk to the fanciest gancho. Their workshops focus on a single aspect of the dance, giving their students an opportunity to absorb several variations of each movement.  They have performed at many of the famous milongas of Buenos Aires and have been filmed for the Solo Tango Channel and MTV.  They count as their main influences as teachers, Mingo Pugliese, Gustavo Naveira, Nito and Elba, Ezquiel Herrera, Pablo Veron, Osvaldo Zotto, Nestor Rey, Ricardo Vidourt, Graciela Gonzales and Puppy Castello.  Diego y Negracha
