동양문인협회 시상식, '대한민국천재포럼' 성료…
창립 30주년 기념 문학상 시상
천재포럼과 NOBEL TIMES가 주최·주관하는 '대한민국천재포럼' 및 '동양문인협회 시상식'이 지난 13일 서울 마포구 노벨재단 공개홀에서 200여명이 참여한 가운데 개최됐다.
이번 행사는 유재기 박사(노벨재단 총괄사무총장 겸 NOBEL TIMES 발행인, 대통령 자문위원)가 총괄 기획했으며, 동양문인협회(회장 이삭빛 박사)가 공동 참여해 학술과 문학을 결합한 행사로 기획됐다.
행사는 총 2부로 진행됐다. 1부 '대한민국천재포럼'은 정현덕 편집위원장이 사회를 맡아 진행했으며, ▲이형구 박사의 '아름다운 섬, 대마도' 강연과 ▲조길제 박사의 'K 워터에너지 비전' 발표가 펼쳐졌다.
이어 진행된 2부 '동양문인협회 시상식'은 정승운 운영위원장과 최미영 전남대 사이버 교수의 공동 사회로 전개됐다.
특히 문학상 시상식 후에는 10대 가수협회가 참여해 피날레 무대를 가졌다. 이날 현장에는 2026년 노벨문학상 대한민국대표 후보인 황인경 작가가 내빈으로 참석했다.
유재기 발행인은 축사를 통해 "이 자리를 빛내준 2026년 노벨문학상 대한민국대표 후보 황인경 작가에게 감사를 표하며, 그의 문학적 여정은 큰 자부심과 영감을 준다"고 전했다.
이어 내빈들에게 사의를 표하며 "동양문인협회가 30주년 기념 시상식을 기점으로 향후 안목 있는 숨은 실력자 발굴과 작가 지원에 힘쓰는 한편, K-문학의 위상을 높여 세계 속에서 중심적인 역할을 다해줄 것"을 당부했다.
동양문인협회 이삭빛 회장은 환영사를 통해 "이번 시상은 엄격하고 공정한 심사를 거쳤다"고 밝히며, 창립 30주년을 맞아 동양문협이 지향하는 '진정한 문학의 삼박자'를 강조했다.
이 회장이 제시한 문학의 삼박자는 ▲시대를 꿰뚫어 보고 인간을 품어내는 깊은 시선 ▲메마른 세상에 따뜻한 위로를 건네는 치유의 힘 ▲끊임없이 자신을 벼려내는 치열한 작가 정신이다.
이 회장은 "수상자들은 이 세 가지를 두루 갖추고 실력을 증명해 낸 분들"이라며 "여러분의 펜 끝이 있기에 우리 협회가 지난 30년의 역사를 발판 삼아 문학의 숲으로 지평을 확장해 갈 수 있다"고 말했다.
이어 "나아가 노벨사무총장이신 유재기 박사님의 헌신에 힘입어 황인경 작가님이 꼭 노벨문학상을 수상하시도록 함께 적극 협조하겠다"고 덧붙였다.

Celebrating the 30th Anniversary with Literary Awards
The "Korea Genius Forum" and the "Oriental Writers Association Awards Ceremony," hosted and organized by the Genius Forum and the NOBEL TIMES, were held on the 13th at the Nobel Foundation Public Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul, with approximately 150 participants in attendance.
The event was spearheaded and planned by Dr. Yoo Jae-ki (Secretary-General of the Nobel Foundation, Publisher of the NOBEL TIMES, and Presidential Advisory Committee Member) in collaboration with the Oriental Writers Association (chaired by Dr. Lee Sak-bit), combining academic discourse with literature.
The event was divided into two main parts:
Part 1: Korea Genius Forum – Moderated by Jeong Hyeon-deok, Chair of the Editorial Committee. It featured a lecture titled "Tsushima, the Beautiful Island" by Dr. Lee Hyeong-gu, followed by a presentation on "K-Water Energy Vision" by Dr. Cho Gil-je.
Part 2: Oriental Writers Association Awards – Co-moderated by Jeong Seung-woon, Chair of the Steering Committee, and Choi Mi-young, Cyber Professor at Chonnam National University.
Following the literary awards ceremony, the 10 Famous Singers Association delivered a grand finale performance. Notably, author Hwang In-kyung, South Korea’s representative candidate for the 2026 Nobel Prize in Literature, attended the event as a distinguished guest.
In his congratulatory speech, Publisher Yoo Jae-ki expressed his gratitude, stating:
"I would like to extend my deepest thanks to author Hwang In-kyung, South Korea's representative candidate for the 2026 Nobel Prize in Literature, for gracing us with her presence. Her literary journey brings us immense pride and inspiration."
He also expressed his appreciation to all the guests, adding:
"With this 30th-anniversary awards ceremony as a turning point, I hope the Oriental Writers Association will dedicate itself to discovering insightful, hidden talents and supporting writers, while elevating the status of K-literature to play a central role on the global stage."
Dr. Lee Sak-bit, President of the Oriental Writers Association, delivered the welcoming address, emphasizing that the awards underwent a rigorous and fair evaluation process. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, she highlighted the "Three Essential Elements of True Literature" that the association aspires to uphold:
A deep perspective that pierces through the times and embraces humanity.
A healing power that offers warm consolation to a barren world.
A fierce artistic spirit that constantly refines oneself.
President Lee remarked:
"The award recipients are individuals who possess all three qualities and have proven their exceptional talents. It is thanks to the tips of your pens that our association can expand its horizons into the forest of literature, building upon our 30-year history."
She added,
"Furthermore, backed by the dedication of Dr. Yoo Jae-ki, Secretary-General of the Nobel Foundation, we will actively cooperate to ensure that author Hwang In-kyung successfully wins the Nobel Prize in Literature."
