안녕하세요. 2007년 5월 1일부터 시행되고있는The International Graduates Scheme (IGS)에 관한 정보입니다.

5월 1일 이후에 BA를 마치신 분들은 이제 졸업 후 1년간 워크퍼밋없이 일하실 수 있습니다.

BA도중 NI를 걸고 주당 20시간 이상만 안하셨다면 무난하게 나온다고 하네요~ (요즘은 비자연장할때 NI를 무조껀 확인한다고 하네요;;)

Dear Mr. Hyun Sung Lee,

The International Graduates Scheme (IGS) was launched on 1st May 2007.
It has replaced the Science and Engineering Graduates Scheme.  It enables non-EEA students who have successfully completed and obtained a degree, Master's degree, PHD, or postgraduate diploma on or after 1st May 2007 to work in the UK for up to 12 months upon completion of their studies. 

During a persons leave under IGS, participants can take any type of employment or self-employment for up to 12 months upon completion of their studies.

If you completed your course on or after 1st May 2007, you can apply regardless of the subject you have studied.

If you completed your course before 1st May 2007, but no longer than 12 months ago (as shown by the date of expiry of leave as a Student to complete this course), you should still apply on the IGS form, but your application will be considered under the conditions of the Science and Engineering Graduate Scheme rules. 

For further information about applying for the scheme, as it becomes available, please visit the Working in the UK website at:
www.workingintheuk.gov.uk.

The FLR(IGS) form is available from the Home Office website at www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/applying/applicationforms/ or by calling the Application Forms Unit on 0870 241 0645.  All details and instructions are included with the application form.

그러게요.. 이게 PHD 학생을 대사으로 하던걸 ba 까지 넓혀서 한다고 하니 .... 앞으로 대학에 들어갈 사람들은 밝은 미래가 ... ㅋㅋㅋ
