Faith is like a diamond, Part 34
Let's rotate the faith diamond for another view.
We must put our FAITH solidy in the Word of God.
The definition of FAITH in the New Testament is to: believe in, trust in and obey the Word of God. All of creation came through the Word of God and not only that, it is maintained by the Words of His Power!
God created everything with His mouth. There are 618 verses in the Bible that have “God said,” in them. We are created in the image of God and we are to put His Word in our mouth and create our own reality. Jesus gave us this authority in Luke 10:19.
Genesis 1:26-27 NKJV Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply.”
WE ARE TO SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD! We are the very image of God!
Hebrews 1:1-3 NKJV "God, who at various times and in various ways SPOKE in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high."
We must draw a line in the sand; make the choice, no matter what, to believe in, trust in and obey the Word of God.
Jesus spoke everything into being and He upholds everything by the word of His power. Believer, get this: HIS WORDS HAVE POWER.
WE ARE TO PUT GOD'S WORDS IN OUR MOUTH AND RELEASE HIS POWER IN OUR LIVES. Pray His Word regarding the promise of God that you need fulfilled in your life . Example: healing.
What does the Word say about healing?
1 Peter 2:24 "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed."
The devil comes to steal our healing. We must attack him with the Word of God. God gave us His Word and He gave us the authority to use it. Remember, the Father, Yahweh, Yeshua Hamashiach and the Holy Spirit are all the Word. When we pray in agreement with the Word we are praying in agreement with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Prayer: Yahweh Elohim, I bind the devil and every infirmity devil, every unclean devil, come out of me and get off me in the name of Jesus, Yeshua! I command my body whole and well in the name of Jesus! I believe and receive Your Word: 1 Peter 2:24 "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed."
Therefore I am healed by the stripes of Jesus! In Yeshua Hamashiach name!
We are healed by the stripes of Jesus (1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:4-5). When the devil tries to tempt us to give up our healing we are to attack him with the Word of God!
We are not to just take, receive, the attack of the devil. We are to attack the attack!! With the Word of God. The devil came to kill, steal and destroy but we are to prevent him from doing this with our mouths! Stop being a kicking toy for the devil. FIGHT BACK!
If you need to repent and ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus, do it! Forgive everyone who has ever harmed you; forgive yourself for the hurt that you have done to others and to the heart of God.
