basic skier,skidding turn is the easiest way to control speed. so,
unless you are competitor, you can rely on skid to control your
turn.

another thing i tell you the secret. i should't tell this.it reveals my
secret . if you skid backside of moguls, everybody can see you skid.
but if you skid frontside of mogul, nobody can see you are skidding.
because your skis is at the bottom.so, to me i'm 49 years old,become
50 very soon.i try to carve at the backside of mogul.and skid at the
frontside of mogul.it's good technic.
