Birds are the last living dinosaurs.
The first birds looked like tiny raptors with feathers.
They also had beaks and teeth.
Over time, Soe some of these birds lost their teeth and used just their beaks.
This happend happened when they began eating only fruit, seeds, and other parts of plants.
A An asteroid hit Earth, and it disrupted the food chain and killed almost all the animals on Earth.
But beaked birds could live on just seeds.
So they could survive!
