날 저물고 돋는 달에
흰 물은 솰솰..
금모래 반짝..
靑노새 몰고가는 郞君 !
여기는 강촌
Under the rising moon as it darkens
Besieged by gushing white water,
And glitters of golden sands;
Dear lad, herding that bluish mule!
Here’s Kangchon, village by river.

江村에 내 몸은 홀로 사네.
말하자면, 나도 나도
늦은 봄 오늘이 다 盡토록
百年 妻眷(처권)을 울고 가네.
길세 저문 나는 선비,
당신은 江村에 홀로된 몸.
By myself in Kangchon I live, and
As we say, till end of this late spring day,
Crying for tillage of husb’dry, I fade away;
A scholar of gloomy future, left alone,
Here I live in village of Kangchon.
