So, thank you for addressing the whole Wannaland situation. 태비 are actually relieved that you guys are not coming. Let’s meet again soon and more often BUT under better circumstances and environment, please.
We heard a rumor about it awhile back that you guys are coming, and we were skeptical. We were burned twice this year and the way we found out about this thing was not how we normally should find out about these things. Usually, the organizer would just announce it on the platforms that we actually use, but this was advertised on weibo even though it’s happening in Thailand. They later announced that the purpose of the event was to encourage tourism which makes sense, I guess. The organizer coordinates with a Chinese organizer to create this event. While I believe it’s a real event, there are many concerning things about it.
The biggest one is this. Someone asked about their policy on people smoking cigarettes, vape, and weed inside the event and the admin said “we don't have any policy against that at the moment.”

Something similar actually happened before; a similar situation with the organizers and everything. The people attending the event complained about how the organizer didn’t inform anyone beforehand that drinking and smoking are actually allowed in the performance area. Honestly, even if you guys are coming and smoking is allowed, I wouldn’t be able to go. I cannot breathe at all near people who smoke. TMI: I can’t even breathe in a car with a pungent car freshener.
I know weed is really serious in Korea. They legalized it here, but a lot of people are trying to get it to be a controlled substance. I hope it will. People are way too irresponsible with it. Also, weirdly enough, vapes are actually illegal in Thailand. They most likely won’t arrest you for it, but they could.
(They already announced that P1Harmony is in the lineup, maybe you could pass this concern?) I mean, their policy could still change, but just in case.
There are other things too, like how the event is gonna be pretty close to comeback weeks. If it actually does fall on comeback weeks, we want you guys to focus on that instead of flying 6 hrs to perform 4-6 songs and flying 6 hrs back. It doesn’t sound like a smart or healthy idea.
On top of all that, they’re sketchy as hell in fans’ dm.
They commented on my video, tagged me in a post, and dm-ed me on tiktok asking if I’m interested in inviting 500-1000 people to buy the tickets. In exchange, if I can get a lot of people to go to the event and be in the top 3 teams who can bring in people the most, they’ll comp me zone B tickets and gifts + there’ll be an area for fans to do a “welcome activity” for the artist. All I had to do was send them the names and ticketing evidence.
When people asked why the offer is not announced on the page, they said they couldn’t post it there and then they asked the person who asked to give them their phone number so they could call and give them the details because they can’t “say this via the chat.” They also told somebody else that they’re gonna have a promotion for students to buy the tickets at a lower price but this will be done outside of the ticketing site.
And despite tbz being yet to be officially announced as the lineup, they told me in the dm that yall are definitely coming and that they knew this because they’re an “insider.” They also told someone else that they “can’t say it officially yet that tbz is coming but all I can say is you can buy the ticket now and bring a lot of people from your fandom.”
It’s just all too shady. Even if this is how this particular organizer does things, it’s still too weird for us. The way the admin answers questions is not at all professional. Seriously, they stalked me on twt, screenshotted my tweet (the one where I dragged them even), and sent me a dm on tiktok. That’s weird af. I’m just a nobody. I don’t even know 5 people, let alone 500-1000.
I’m relieved tbz is not attending. Still, I hope things aren’t as bad as it looks if the event is still going on. If other artists are still attending then I hope the event will go smoothly without complications.🙏🙏
I really like how outspoken and protective 태비 are though. Instead of just letting things go when we see something ain’t right because we miss you and want to see you, we switched to protective mode and tried to warn your company and you right away. People (well, Jaan) started sending ist emails about why you should not attend the event and asked other people to join in on sending the emails.
I hope whoever is in charge of your business deals would look into the organizer more thoroughly. We want to see you more often, but why couldn’t you just come for kcon or something?? lol. You know, something more reliable. I wouldn’t even hesitate if it’s kcon, or waterbomb, or something we know for sure who the organizer is.
I hope you guys are not discouraged from coming here. We must be cursed or something; soooo many disappointments for 태비 this year. I’m sorry there are so many obstacles like this. I’m tired too. It would have been fun if not for this whole organizer thing. It would have been the first time you guys performed the new song overseas. That would have been nice. I don’t know if an opportunity for you to perform in my hometown would come again and when, but it would be nice to get there one day.
Also, I just want you to come travel here. It doesn’t have to be for work or anything. There are so many nice things I hope you’d get to experience for yourself without having to rush or be restricted by your schedule.
While you can’t do that yet, I’ll show you what you’re missing out on.
This is a very cute ice cream parlor in my town.
It was renovated not long ago. It’s been in business for ages tho. Before, their main product was coconut milk ice cream with Thai styled toppings. My mom loves that type of ice cream since she’s also one of the lactose unfortunates and coconut milk ice cream contains no dairy.
Actually, I think I still have pictures from back then.
This is from September 17, 2018. I ordered chocolate ice cream. It had cut-up Khanom Khai (Thai egg cake) underneath and topped with peanuts and condensed milk.
They didn’t have a lot of different ice cream flavors back then.
Now, the business is passed on to a new generation and these are the flavors they carry.
They make “Thai flavors” now. They use local ingredients and their flavors imitate classic Thai tastes like Thai desserts and fruits.
There are more Thai styled toppings now too!
You can choose whether you want the ice cream in a cone or bread or cup, then you choose 4 scoops of ice cream, then you choose the toppings. The price is only 40 baht for the cone/cup and 45 baht for the bread (around 1600-1800 won).
