이하의 내용은 미국 Stellite 사에서 제시하는 표면 경화 육성 용접용 Stellite 합금의 종류와 특성입니다. 흔히 Stellite라고 하면 Co 합금을 생각하는 데, 그렇지 않는 재료도 많이 있습니다. Stelite는 용접재료만 있는 것이 아니며, 분말 상태의 용사재료로 나오는 것도 있고, 아예 환봉 등으로 가공되어 나오는 것도 있습니다.
