Title: Associate – Securities Operations

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Process securities transactions using in-house software;

- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders by email and phone, including lawyers, accountants, financial institutions, corporate officers and directors;

- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of documents related to share issuances and transfers and other securities transactions;

- Produce and distribute physical share certificates and share statements forshareholders;

- Organize and prepare documents for corporate annual general meetings; and

- Other administrative duties or projects as assigned

 

Requirements and Skills:

- Attention to detail and organized;

- Team player;

- Takes initiative and ensures tasks are completed fully and timely;

- Effective task prioritization;

- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook;

- Clear and effective oral and written communication;

- Excellent time management;

- Able to accept feedback positively; and

- 1-2 years of previous office experience (preferred)

Salary: $20 - $25/hour, or $42,000 - $52,000/year, depending on experience. Benefits: Extended health, dental, life insurance, ADD, critical illness, long-term disability and $500 health spending/lifestyle & wellness account.
