| Position: | Visual Art Instructor Bilingual (Korean & English) PT |
| Job Description: | We are looking for an art instructor to lead the drawing & painting programs for grades 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and adults. Candidates must have a keen interest in teaching and be able to motivate and engage students in their artistic and creative pursuits. |
| Main Responsibilities: | * Lead drawing, painting or figure drawing programs in the intro and advanced levels. * Demonstrate art techniques and support students to develop their own unique style and personality. * Provide constructive feedback, support and direction to enable students to achieve their educational goals. * Maintain accurate records of each student's progress |
| Requirements: | * Bilingual speaker with Korean & English * Relevant post-secondary degree (BFA or MFA) * Min 1 year of experience in teaching students. * In-depth knowledge and interest in expanding student knowledge in drawing, painting and figure drawing. * Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students * Be able to commit to teaching classes on an ongoing basis (mainly after school and weekends) * Excellent classroom, time and organizational skills in a classroom setting * Ability to work collaboratively with team members and strong interpersonal skills * Strong administration skills and the ability to keep a track record of students progress |
