Now Hiring: Part-Time Café Team Member (Kitsilano)
A performance wellness café in Kits is looking for a friendly, organized part-timer who's also genuinely excited about helping build a brand. This is a consistent, short-shift role, roughly 10 to 12 hours a week across about three days. Shifts are mainly afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and include closing. Exact days and times to be confirmed, so some flexibility helps.
We're not a typical cafe. We're building a brand around whole ingredients, no refined sugar, and wellness-focused food. We're not a Korean café, but Korean cooking runs through some of our main signature dishes, so it's a real part of what we do.
This role has two sides, and we care about both. On the floor, it's about keeping the space running clean and tight: prep, organization, a strong close, making our full drink lineup, and looking after guests with genuine warmth. Beyond that, we're looking for someone who wants to be part of how we grow. Menu development, marketing, and promotions are a real part of what we do, and we want a teammate who gets excited about new ideas and wants to help shape them, not just clock in and out.
It's clean prep and assembly, by the way, not heavy cooking or a greasy line.
What you'll do:
Prep, organize, and keep the whole space clean and tidy throughout the shift
Run a thorough, reliable close
Build our full drink lineup: blended, espresso-based, matcha, protein, and more
Greet and look after guests in a friendly, genuine way
Contribute ideas for menu development, promotions, and content as we grow
Handle light kitchen prep, assembly, and plating (no heavy cooking or grease)
What we're looking for:
A real interest in menu development, marketing, and promotions. This matters to us. You see a café as a brand to build, not just a storefront
Someone who genuinely enjoys organizing and prep. That mindset is the core of the day-to-day
Friendly and warm with customers, every time
Real café and bar experience. Making drinks and running a clean station should already be second nature
Genuine interest in wellness and whole-food cooking, plus an appreciation for Korean food, since some of our signatures are rooted in it
Easy to communicate with and open to feedback. We move quickly and value people who collaborate rather than dig in
Reliable, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule once set
Nice to have:
Experience with whole-food or wellness-focused menus
A sense for social content, branding, or product ideas
If this sounds like you, send your resume and a quick note about your café experience, plus any menu, marketing, or promo ideas you've helped bring to life.
