UFV는 밴쿠버 중심지역에 위치한게 아니다보니
한국학생들이 선호하는 학교는 아닙니다.
UFV는 1974년에 설립되어, 2008년에 University로 승격되었습니다.
현재 약 15,000명의 학생들이 재학중이며
약 1,700명의 국제학생이 있고
석사, 학사, 2년 디플로마, 1년 Certificate등
다양한 과정들이 오픈 되있습니다.
밴쿠버 지역 학교에서 입학이 까다로운
빅토리아 캐모슨을 비롯해 학과때문에
이동할경우의 옵션으로 둘수있는 학교입니다.
메인캠퍼스인 아보츠포드, 칠리왁부터
항공센터, 농업센터, Clearbrook, Mission, Hope등
작은 마을에 있는 센터까지 과정에 따라
다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있습니다.
다만 지역적인 부분때문에 인도쪽 학생들이 많다고 합니다....

지역적인 특성때문에 농업관련 과정들이 1년과정으로 많으며
파일럿 과정, 유아교사, 그리고 사회복지사 과정도
국제학생 입학이 가능하도록 되어있습니다.
학비는 보통 학기 등록금으로 정해져있으며
한 학기에 대략 $10,000불정도 측정이 되어있고
최대 5과목가지 수강 가능합니다.
