지난 알버타 주정부는 지난 2월 15일 갑작스럽게 AOS 스트림 중단을 발표하면서 3월 1일에 Tourism and Hospitality 스트림을 오픈한다고 발표했었는데요, 오늘 드디어 프로그램이 발표되어 자세한 내용을 공유드립니다.
알버타는 관광업이 발달한 지역 특성을 살려 관광 산업을 더 성장시키기에 가치 있는 산업으로 보고 부족한 인력을 채우는 것에 중점을 두고 있는데요,
향후 10년 안에 관광 산업을 지금보다 2배 이상 성장시키는 것을 목표로 하고 있어
부족한 노동력을 채우기 위한 첫걸음으로 Tourism and Hospitality Stream을 새롭게 오픈한 것으로 보입니다.ㅤㅤ

AAIP - Tourism and Hospitality Stream
이번에 발표된 프로그램의 정식 명칭은 THS, Tourism and Hospitaly Stream입니다.
이 프로그램은 알버타 내 관광 및 호텔 산업분야뿐 아니라 레스토랑 서버, 요리사, 바텐더, 청소원 등 총 18개의 직업군이 포함되며 6개월 이상 근무 경험과 LMIA 풀타임 잡오퍼가 있는 외국인을 대상으로 합니다.

지원자 지원 자격요건
1. 현재 고용 상태
- 신청서 제출 시점 알버타에서 살고 있으며 해당 Tourism and Hospitality 직군(아래 표 참고)에서
근무하고 있어야 합니다.
- 유효한 LMIA 비자를 소지하고 있어야 합니다. (Maintained Statue 상태는 인정되지 않습니다.)
2. 경력
- 6개월 이상 Full-time 경력이 필요합니다(*주 30시간 이상 = 780 시간)
※ 중간에 쉬는 기간 없이 연속적인 경력이어야 합니다.
- 채용을 제안한 동일한 고용주의 회사에서의 경력이어야 합니다.
- 유급 경력이어야 합니다.(무급 경력 X)
- 캐나다 내 합법적인 신분이었어야 합니다.
3. 잡오퍼
- 18개 Tourism and Hospitality 직군에 포함되어야 합니다.
- 6개월 근무 경력과 동일한 고용주여야 합니다.
- 유급, 풀타임이어야 합니다(최소 주 30시간 이상)
- 고용 기간이 최소 12개월 이상이어야 합니다.
- LMIA에 명시된 임금을 충족하거나 초과하거나, Alis 사이트 기준 해당 직군 최소 starting wage 임금을 충족하거나 초과해야 합니다.
4. 언어
- 영어 혹은 불어 CLB 4 이상 (2년 이내 점수)
📌채택 가능 시험 4가지
영어 : Celpip General / IELTS General
불어 : TEF / TCF
5. 학력
최소 고등학교 졸업 이상 (캐나다 밖에서 졸업했다면 학력인증 필수)
- 지원 불가능한 경우,
- 풀타임 잡오퍼가 있더라도 파트타임, 임시직, 계절 직인 경우
- 기업 등록 시스템(CORES)에 등록된 독립 계약자, 임시 파견근로자, 비즈니스 오너인 경우
- 알바타 외 지역에서 재택근무를 하는 경우
- 상업, 회사 공간이 아닌 Home-based 사업에서 근무하는 경우

고용주 지원 자격요건 ㅤㅤ
Tourism and Hospitaly Stream을 지원하기 위해서는 고용주와 함께 이루어져야 합니다.
따라서 고용주도 갖추어야 할 조건이 있습니다
1. Worker's Compensation Board(WCB) 승인
- 고용주는 WCB에 정의된 적격 산업체에 포함되어야 합니다.
- 신청서를 제출할 때, 앨버타주 고용주가 유효한 WCB를 가지고 있는 것을 증명해야 하고 예외인 경우는 WCB 레터를 통해 예외임을 증명해야 합니다

2. 적격 산업 협회의 회원이어야 합니다.

오늘은 새롭게 발표된 Tourism and Hospitality 스트림 자격요건에 대해 알아보았습니다.
알버타 AOS이 갑자기 중단되면서 많은 분들이 고민이 많으실 텐데요,
