IPC Year 5 Excursion Trip 2026
What an exciting day of learning beyond the classroom! As part of IPC Theme: Holiday Show, our Year 5 students journeyed to Malay Cultural Village-Kampung Heritage to experience the rich traditions and culture of Malaysia firsthand.
The students were introduced to the art of Batik,where they learned about its history before creating their own colourful Batik paintings. They then explored traditional music by playing the Angklung, working together to create beautiful melodies.
The fun continued with traditional games, including Gasing, where students challenged their friends in top-spinning challenges, and Congkak, which tested their strategic thinking skills. A highlight of the trip was the fascinating Wayang Kulit experience, where students discovered the storytelling tradition behind Malaysia's famous shadow puppets.

교실 너머의 배움은 정말 흥미진진한 날입니다! IPC 테마: 홀리데이 쇼의 일환으로, 우리 5학년 학생들은 말레이시아의 풍부한 전통과 문화를 직접 체험하기 위해 말레이 문화 마을-캄풍 유산으로 여행을 떠났습니다.
학생들은 바틱 예술을 접하게 되었고, 그곳에서 자신만의 다채로운 바틱 그림을 그리기 전에 그 역사에 대해 배웠습니다. 그런 다음 앙클룽을 연주하며 전통 음악을 탐구하고 함께 아름다운 멜로디를 만들었습니다.
학생들이 탑 스피닝 챌린지에서 친구들에게 도전하는 게이징과 전략적 사고력을 테스트하는 콩깍이 등 전통 게임으로 재미를 이어갔습니다. 여행의 하이라이트는 말레이시아의 유명한 그림자 인형 뒤에 숨겨진 스토리텔링 전통을 발견한 와양 쿨릿 체험이었습니다.
