진흙탕 속에서도
세상의 탁함을 모르는 듯
고요히 고개 드는 연분홍의 영혼
넓은 연잎 위에 은구슬 구르며
모진 세상사에도
힙 쓸리거나 굴하지 않고
스스로 정결함의 지혜를 가르치는 당신
흐린 물 더럽다
한마디 불평불만 없이
고결하고 우아한 모습으로 예쁘게 피어나
더위에 지친 이의 마음에 신선함을 안기는 당신
인정사정 한 톨도 없는 뜨거운 태양
쏟아지는 빗물에도
우아하고 정결함으로
더위에도 흐트러짐 없이 차분하게 평안을 주는 당신

Even if there's no news like this or that
even in the mud
as if not aware of the murkyness of the world
The soul of light pink that raises its head quietly
rolling silver beads on a broad lotus leaf
even in the dead of the world
I don't get hip or give in
You teach yourself the wisdom of purity
Cloudy water is dirty
without a word of complaint
It blooms beautifully in a noble and elegant way
You give freshness to the hearts of those who are tired of the heat
The hot sun without a grain of compassion
Even in the pouring rain
with grace and cleanliness
You give peace without being disturbed even in the heat
