This tribute statue stands outside the Memorial Hall of Ahn Jung-geun in Namsan Park in Seoul.

Ahn was a Korean patriot who assassinated Ito Hirobumi, the first Prime Minister of Japan. Ahn was executed for the assassination and remains a hero to the Korean people for his role in trying to bring an end to Japan's colonization of Korea.
