글로벌 e스포츠산업 공동추진 위한 3자 협약 체결
Global e-Sports Industry Partnership:
Trilateral Agreement Signed by GIEF, Challenge Korea, and World Challenge Foundation


2025년 7월 23일에 국제e스포츠진흥원(이사장 전옥이), (사)도전한국인본부(상임대표 조영관 박사, 총재 이돈희 노인의 날 만든이), 세계도전재단(총재  이돈희 세계어버이날 만든이ㆍUN 평화대사,  회장  조영관 박사)은 7월 23일 하남시에 위치한 국제e스포츠진흥원 본사에서 글로벌 e스포츠산업의 발전과 세계화를 위한 3자 협약을 체결했다.

On July 23, 2025, the Global Institute for eSports Foundation (GIEF, Chairperson Jeon Ok-yi), Challenge Korea Headquarters (Dr. Cho Young-kwan, Executive Director: Lee don-hee, President, Founder of Korea's Senior Citizens' Day), and the World Challenge Foundation (WCF, USA; President Lee don-hee, Founder of World Senior Citizens' Day & UN Peace Ambassador; Chairman Dr. Cho Young-kwan) signed a trilateral agreement at GIEF’s headquarters in Hanam City, Korea, to promote the development and globalization of the global eSports industry.


이번 협약에는 세 기관의 고문인 강장욱 박사도 함께 하였으며, e스포츠 자격체계 구축과 제도 확산, 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 공동 사업 추진에 상호 협력하기로 했다.
The agreement was also attended by senior advisor Dr. Kang Jang-wook and outlines collaborative efforts to develop e-sports certification systems, institutional frameworks, and international expansion strategies.


협약의 주요 내용은 다음과 같다:
Key cooperation areas include:

• 국내외 e스포츠 자격증 발급, 코치·감독 교육 프로그램 운영, 전문인력 양성
   Issuance of e-sports certifications, coach/manager training, and talent development
• 국제 e스포츠 인증기관으로서 자격 검정, 인증, 교육, 심사 운영
   Operation as a global certifying body: testing, accreditation, education, and eval‎uation
• 필요시 아웃소싱 및 국내외 기관 협업 추진
   Outsourcing and collaboration with domestic/international partners
• 해외 지회 설립을 위한 IOC, 대한체육회, 세계한인회 등과의 인사 추천 및 임명
   Establishing overseas branches through personnel recommendations from IOC, Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, and Korean global networks
• 외국 명예대사·명예영사와 협력한 비자, 무역, 인재 교류 사업
   Programs in cooperation with honorary diplomats for visas, trade, and human resources
• ‘세계 e스포츠의 날(2월 22일)’ 상표 등록 공동 추진
   Joint trademark registration of “World e-Sports Day” (February 22)

본 협약은 글로벌 e스포츠 생태계의 지속가능한 발전을 위한 초석이 될 것으로 기대된다.
This agreement is expected to serve as a cornerstone for the sustainable growth of the global e-sports ecosystem.
