The kingdom of heaven is not a place found in some idealized future after physical death (according to theology); it can only exist within the timeless continuum of the Here & Now. Unbounded peace, joy, love, wisdom and creativity are available to all those who surrender to their greater, changeless identity (the unified field of all things).

The search for eternal bliss (the present moment) collapses when the dualistic mind exhausts itself from holding on to the illusion of separation. We can either choose to fully embrace our divine nature or continue making excuses to remain asleep in our mind-created dungeon of ego-consciousness (body-mind identification).
