스페인에서 열린 이 경기는 경기 시작 22분 만에 4골을 내주며 무너진 토트넘의 '악몽 같은 시작'과, 실책을 연발한 안토닌 킨스키 골키퍼가 불과 17분 만에 교체 아웃된 사건으로 큰 주목을 받았습니다. 하지만 클럽은 이 챔피언스리그 16강전에서 발생한 다른 사건들로 인해 기소 및 제재를 받게 되었습니다.

UEFA 윤리·징계위원회는 해당 경기 선발 명단에서만 5명의 선수가 경고를 받은 토트넘에 대해, 한 경기 5회 이상 경고 누적에 따른 '팀의 부적절한 행위' 책임을 물어 경고 조치를 내렸습니다. 또한, 위원회는 경기 킥오프를 지연시킨 책임으로 토트넘에 1만 유로의 벌금을 부과했으며, 당시 팀을 이끌었던 투도르 전 감독에게도 킥오프 지연에 대한 경고 처분을 내렸습니다.

Spurs' match in Spain last month caught the eye mainly for the north London side's nightmare start to proceeding which saw them 4-0 down within 22 minutes and goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky hauled off after just 17 minutes following a couple of gaffes. However, the club have also found themselves charged and sanctioned for incidents within the Champions League last 16 clash.

UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body decided that Tottenham, who received five yellow cards to their starting XI in the match, should receive a warning for "improper conduct of the team" for picking up five or more bookings in the encounter in Madrid. The body also decided that the London club should be fined 10,000 euros (£8,656) for causing a late kick-off and their ex-boss Tudor was also handed a warning for the delayed kick-off.

경고야 뭐 선수들만의 책임은 아니었었고 경기 운영 지들 꼴리는대로한 심판진들 탓도 있었고 경기 지연은 저때 날씨때문에 주변 교통이 마비됐었다고하는데 uefa벌금 시스템이 뭔가 이상한듯
