The Identity and the End of the Tree of the Fruit of Good and Evil
The tree of the fruit of good and evil is the dragon—the serpent (Satan)—and is referred to in parables as the wild vine, which is a created being. This dragon ruled the world for six thousand years and is the tree of the fruit of good and evil that brought death upon people. This tree of the fruit of good and evil is what appeared in Revelation as Babylon.
The Babylon recorded in the Old and New Testaments was the organized group (organization) that swallowed up and destroyed God’s kingdom, Jerusalem, in every era. The spirit of the dragon has been working together with this kingdom of Babylon.
The food of Babylon that is introduced in Rv 16, 17, 18 is the wine of adulteries, and [Babylon] destroyed all nations with this. And [it] even made the people of all nations get married with the god (spirit) of Babylon, the kingdom of demons.
The god (spirit) of Babylon is the dragon, and this dragon is the tree of the fruit of good and evil. He was figuratively likened to and called [with titles] such as the serpent, Satan, devil, and dragon. Concerning this god (spirit) of evil, there are records of him in Ez 28, Is 14, and even in the book of Daniel.
As seen in the contents of Ez 28, which explains the identity of this spirit of the dragon called the serpent in Genesis, one can see he became proud due to his own wisdom, position, and beauty. And by trying to exalt himself, he opposed God and became a counterfeit (false) god, that is, Satan. That is why Jesus said whoever humbles himself will be exalted (Mt 23:12, Lk 14:11).
The one who lowers himself and is humble and thankful becomes the one who gets clothed with grace (Prv 3:34). A creation, as a servant of the Creator, must know how to be thankful (1Thes 5:18). If [one] exalts himself and becomes proud through what he knows, the spirit of the devil enters, and he becomes one with the devil. Be careful.
