God’s Position and Satan’s Position in the Last Days
In the last days, God creates His new kingdom and new people and spreads a tent over them to be with them (Rv 21:1-4). However, the devil took what God created and had been ruling over the world. So, to keep it from being taken away, he has interfered with God’s work and has persecuted and killed those sent by God (Lk 4:5-6, 1Pt 5:8, Mt 23:29-35, Acts 7:51-57). Both God and Satan work through people.
The last days are referring to the end of the world (age), and the last days in the book of prophecy of the New Testament Bible refer to the time of the second coming. God spoke about this, and it can also be known through the devil’s words (Mt 8:29, Lk 8:31, Rv 20:1-3). At this time, those who live without knowing [what’s going on in] the world will be at ease.
What Jesus made known regarding the things that will happen at the end of the world of the Lord’s second coming are the words of the New Testament Bible. In Rv 21:1, he said that the first heaven and first earth will disappear, and a new heaven and new earth will be created. In Rv 6, he said that [after] receiving judgment, the sun, moon, and stars will disappear, and both heaven (sky) and earth will also disappear. This is the end of the world, that is, the last days. It’s at this time that re-creation begins (Rv 7).
True believers know this through the New Testament Bible. This is the difference between believers and nonbelievers. However, this work of the final, last era passing away and receiving (bringing in) the new era is not such an easy task. Jesus wrote in detail about this new era in the New Testament Bible. Only those people born of God’s seed, the people who have been sealed, and the people who belong to the tribes will exist in this new kingdom and new people—the new heaven and new earth—of this new era. These people’s lives of faith are like gold refined in fire, a life of faith that underwent numerous trials. Like the prophets and apostles...
Throughout the 6,000 years, God and His group had to undergo blood shedding battles and wars with the devil and his group, deception, persecution, death, and suffering. Furthermore, they had to endure a process even more difficult than dying. The previous era, the first heaven and first earth, are all enemies. They risk their lives in rage and attack [us] as if they have gone crazy and mad. During this time, if someone says, “I have received grace. I have received salvation. I have been born of God’s seed, I am sealed, and I belong to the 12 tribes,” and remains idle, he will be swallowed up by the enemy once again. How can one say with their lips, “I am God’s family,” and be idle? Ask yourself. The enemy is coming after us without rest. Have you not seen this?
When you see the throne of heaven in Rv 4, there are flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder, and the movements of the spirits were bustling. And as seen again in Rv 11:19, it was said that God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm. Jesus said in Jn 5:17-19 that because his Father is working, he works in the same way he sees [his Father] working. Have you not seen (read) this?
To the saints of Shincheonji, [we] have seen the heavens working as mentioned above. When the spiritual world (heaven) is working like this, if those who are born of God’s seed and have been sealed love power and money and don’t work (are idle), how can they be considered God’s family born of His seed? Will they be able to withstand the time of judgment? All of you must do as seen above. If you do not repent and make effort now, the place you are going will be different from what you had been aiming for.
The way of God is justice and righteousness. One cannot escape judgment with superficial behavior of just pretending to believe. Even Jesus, the son of God, bore the cross, and all the prophets and apostles were martyred. How much more should those who received appointed tasks in Shincheonji, the kingdom of God, put their lives on the line and work? However, will those who received appointed tasks but remain idle be able to obtain the kingdom of heaven and eternal life? Even if it’s at this moment, [you must] throw away senseless thoughts, repent, and be reborn through prayers in blood (tireless prayers). Soon, there will be judgment.
The God of righteousness does not take it easy on one person over another. The one who does his appointed task fully will receive the heavenly blessings, and the appointed workers who worked superficially will receive punishment. God will repay each person according to the work they have done.
I’m writing this with a grieving heart. Let us all rise and shine the light. Let us put our lives on the line and work. Heaven and earth and all creation are watching. Don’t you see the enemies desperately working for evil? We must put in effort many more times than them for the sake of good. Take these words to heart.
