영어로 분수 읽는 법

분자 - 기수(바탕이 되는 기본 숫자 : one, two, three ...)

분모 - 서수(차례를 나타내는 수 : first, second, third ...)

※ 분자가 2 이상이면 분모에 s울 붙인다.  3/4 : three.fourths

1/2 : a half, one half

1/3: a third, one third

2/3: two thirds

1/4 : a quarter, one quarter

3/4 : three quarters

1/5: a fifth, one fifth

2/5: two fifths

3/5: three fifths

1/6: a sixth, one sixth

5/6: five sixths

1/7: a seventh, one seventh

6/7: six sevenths.

1/8: an eighth, one eighth

1/9: a ninth, one ninth

1/10: a tenth, one tenth

1/20: a twentieth, one twentieth

1/30: a thirtieth, one thirtieth

1/100: a hundredth, one hundredth

1/1000: a thousandth, one thousandth

1/1000,000: a millionth, one million

2/1000,000: two millionths

255/1000,000: two hundred fifty five millionths.
