믿기 쉬운
우리가 서로에게서 그리스도를 보는 것은 분명한 신앙 훈련입니다. 이러한 훈련을 통해 우리는 성장하고, 소명의 기쁨은 우리가 올바른 길을 가고 있다는 것을 확신시켜줍니다. 분명히 태양이 우리를 따뜻하게 한다는 사실이 믿기 쉬울 것이며, 거리 건너편 황무지에 있는 나무 위에서도 싹이 돋을 것이며, 길 건너 낙엽 쌓인 공원의 흙 무더기에서 생명이 솟아나리라는 것을 또한 알고 있습니다.
전쟁과 전쟁의 소문, 빈곤, 전염병, 굶주림, 고통이 있습니다. 그래도 여전히 나무에 수액이 올라오고 있으며 또 다시 봄은 부활할 것입니다. 우리가 구하기만 한다면 위로와 기쁨으로 우리와 항상 함께 계실 것이라고 하나님께서 계속해서 약속하십니다...

Easy to Believe
It is surely an exercise of faith for us to see Christ in each other. But it is through such exercise that we grow and the joy of our vocation assures us we are on the right path. Certainly, it is easier to believe that the sun warms us, and we know that buds will appear on the trees in the wasteland across the street, that life will spring out of the dull clods of that littered park across the way.
There are wars and rumors of wars, poverty and plague, hunger and pain. Still, the sap is rising, again there is the resurrection of spring, and God’s continuing promise to be with us always, with comfort and joy, if we will only ask.
