    This day is call'd the feast of Crispian.
    He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,

    And rouse him at the name of Crispian.

    Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
    And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian.'
    Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars,
    And say 'These wounds I had on Crispian's day.'

    Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
    But he'll remember, with advantages,
    What feats he did that day. Then shall our names,
    Familiar in his mouth as household words-
    Harry the King, Bedford and Exeter,
    Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester-

　오늘 살아남아 집으로 무사히 돌아가는 자는

　이 날이 불리워질 때 벌떡 일어서서 크리스핀의 이름으로 축배를 들리라.

오늘 살아남은 자는 노년이 되어 매 년 그의 밤새워 이웃과 축제를 벌이며

   이렇게 말하리라 '내일은 성 크리스핀 축일이오'

　그리고 그의 소매를 걷어올리고 흉터를 보여주며

   말하리라 '이 상처는 내가 크리스핀 축일에 얻은 것이라오.'

노인은 잊어 버리겠지만, 다른 모든 것들을 잊더라도

　그가 그 날 무슨 공을 세웠는지는 언제까지나 기억하리라.

우리의 이름들, 귀에익은 단어들처럼 그의 입에 익숙한

　헨리 왕, 베드포드와 엑시터, 워릭과 탈봇, 솔즈베리와 글러스터

　이런 이름들이 그들의 넘치는 술잔들 안에서 생생하게 기억되리라.

    And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
    From this day to the ending of the world,

   아무리 천한 자라도 오늘 그의 지위가 고결해지리라.

   그리고 지금 침대에 있을 영국의 귀족들은 이 자리에 있지 못했던 것을 한탄하리라,

그리고 성 크리스핀의 날 우리와 함께 싸웠던 이들의 말을 들을 때마다

　그들의 인격이 부끄러워진다고 느끼리라.

영화 헨리 5세의 대사가 셰익스피어 원작이었군요. 어쩐지 비장함보단 닭살이 돋더라니. 그런데 이 구절은 어느 상황에서죠? 영화본지가 꽤 되서 기억이 잘 안나네요.
